Financial Times: Shell prepares for IT jobs in India

Royal Dutch/Shell said yesterday it had signed a master of services agreement with IBM and Wipro, the Indian software services company, but no decision had been made about when - or how many - jobs would be sent offshore.

Shell has previously announced its intention to cut its global IT staff by 20 to 30 per cent by the end of 2006.Clay Harris
