Anglo American, the London-listed mining group, has sold a 16 per cent stake in Terra Industries, a US nitrogen products manufacturer, for $67 million (£36 million), but retains a 32 per cent holding.
Royal Dutch Shell and BASF are reportedly in talks with a US financial investor and a Russian energy company on the sale of Basell, their petrochemicals joint venture.
