LONDON -- John Wood Group PLC said Tuesday that Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd has been reappointed by Shell U.K. Limited to provide engineering design, maintenance, support and construction services (EMSC) to its onshore assets at St Fergus Gas Plant, Fife FNGL Plant at Mossmorran, Fife Braefoot Bay Terminal plus offshore support for the Goldeneye platform.

The contract, worth approximately GBP25million over two years, will secure employment for around 200 Wood Group employees at Shell 's three onshore sites and in Aberdeen.

The 3 facilities process Natural Gas Liquids coming from offshore facilities into higher value components such as Methane and Ethane.
