In Spain, competition authorities have received the file relating to the formation of a joint venture by petrochemical companies Shell and Cepsa to supply fuel to airlines.

Spanish competition authorities have taken up the case after it was handed to them by the European Commission on November 24. In handing the case over the Spanish authorities, the Commission determined that the joint venture would have no bearing outside Spain.
