London Evening Standard: Cairn buys out Shell venture stake

AIRN Energy has bought out Royal Dutch/Shell Group's half-share of their gas joint venture in Bangladesh for an undisclosed sum. Cairn's stock soared earlier this year after finding oil deposits in India in exploration areas purchased from Shell.
