Financial Times: BG poaches from Shell and BP (ShellNews.net)

BG Group, the UK energy company, has hired two executives from rivals BP and Shell.

Jorn Berget has been appointed executive vice-president of BG Advance, the group's technical and commercial division.

Mr Berget was previously Shell's regional production director for North and South America, and will join BG next month.

Peter Hughes, who works on strategy at BP's gas, power and renewables division, will move to BG at the end of the year as executive vice-president of group strategy.

Both men replace BG executives and will serve on BG's executive committee.
