THE SHELL CORPORATE CONSCIENCE PRESSURE GROUP
Over 200 hundred Shell UK retailers
became members of the Shell Corporate Conscience Pressure Group, the NGO which
my son and I co-founded. We received many letters from former and current Shell
retailers. An example of one such letter which we subsequently distributed and
published as a leaflet can be viewed below followed by examples of two other
letters/notes received, plus a letter from a former Shell operative to his local
MP.
"THE

Station operator Sheila Gee, published and distributed as a leaflet in 1999)
Letter
from Shell station operator, J Simpson & Sons Ltd dated 7 April 1995:
"We would hope this letter may help you
and serve as a warning to others contemplating any form of activity with this
company" (SHELL)
Letter from Shell
station operator, Roger Threlfall: "I am
not at all happy with Shell. I believe the current regime is totally immoral"
Letter dated 12 August 1998 from Shell station operator (and former Police
Officer) Patrick Bradshaw, to Shell Chairman Mark Moody-Stuart: "because of the
underhanded manner and deceit of some of your management..": "bully boy tactics"
