I have noted with great interest news of the book being written by my former esteemed colleague, Mr Paddy Briggs. I look forward to reading it next year.
It is courageous of Mr Briggs to openly state his professional assessment that the “Reputation of ***** has been destroyed by hypocrisy, mendacity and deceit”. I am not in a position at the moment to comment on his analysis as I am currently being sued for defamation for making not dissimilar comments about the same multinational. This is why I have substituted asterisks for the name of the relevant brand/company.
I do have plans for my own tome in due course – working title: “Moral, Ethics and Engineered Torture in the Corporate Environment” - a theme I have already discussed with my contemporaries. Indeed I have already assembled testimonials and opinions of many ex-colleagues plus many of whom are still currently in employment. For obvious reasons their identities will not be revealed.
This should not be taken as an indication that my book will be directed at any particular multinational. I do however hope that it will assist architects of corporations to understand and promote the best ethical leadership for organisations entrusted to their care by the shareholders and suggest how stakeholder interests can best be promoted and protected.
It is a formidable and frightening challenge to expose corporate wrong doing – a very serious matter - while also highlighting the often farcical aspects of management misdeeds and the sometimes malevolent nature of corporate internal politics. I believe it is my duty to articulate and document accurately and honestly the machinations of corporate bodies pertaining to Morals, Ethics and Engineered Torture in the Corporate Environment. Against that backdrop we will let the world assess and judge our integrity and reputation.
I am an extremely patience individual, as well as being meticulous and determined, so I relish the prospect of authoring my forthcoming book as soon as current events allow.
At the moment my attention is mainly focused on an imminent court hearing relating in part to the subject of free speech on the Internet. Mr Briggs will be familiar with the names of the Plaintiff companies.
