Washington Times: Shell subsidiary finds more Malaysia gas (ShellNews.net) Posted 15 April 05

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, (UPI) -- A Malaysian subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell discovered a source of gas on the northeast coast of Malaysia, the Anglo-Dutch oil giant said Thursday.

CS Mutiara Petroleum has started assessing how the gas discoveries could be put to full use, Shell said. It added the company is planning to continue with exploration and appraisal activities in the same area.

CS Mutiara Petroleum is a joint venture between Petronas Carigali and Shell Exploration and Production.
