Royal Dutch Shell expressed confidence in the €2.5 billion (£1.7 billion) sales process for its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unit, despite an exodus of bidders after a downgrade of the division’s profit outlook for France. Five remaining bidders, including BC Partners, have until December 22 to submit final offers.
