KUALA LUMPUR (AFX) - Dialog Group Bhd is upbeat about the prospects of securing more contracts in the near term in the downstream construction sector of the oil and gas industry, the New Straits Times reported.
The newspaper cited the company's chairman and managing director, Ngau Boon Keat, as saying he expects Shell, ExxonMobil and Petroliam Nasional Bhd to step up construction of petrochemical plants and refineries in the near term to capitalize on rising oil prices.
Nagau said the firm is preparing to bid for contracts in West Asia, Southeast Asia and the US.
