AMSTERDAM, Dec 13 (Reuters) - A British hedge fund and Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L: Quote, Profile, Research) reached a settlement on Tuesday in a court case challenging the procedure Shell had chosen to acquire the remaining minority stake in its former Dutch parent as part of its unification.
Trafalgar Catalyst Fund and Trafalgar Volatility Fund agreed to withdraw their claims, in return for Shell agreeing that an independent adviser would review the cash prices it had decided to pay minority shareholders owning the remaining 1.5 percent of Royal Dutch.
Trafalgar owns 900,000 shares or 0.3 percent of the outstanding Royal Dutch minority stock.
