BEIJING (AFX) - Sinopec and Shell (Jiangsu) Petroleum Marketing Co Ltd has started operating its first petrol stations in Suzhou in eastern China, the company said.
The joint venture was established in August 2004 to develop and operate about 500 service stations in Jiangsu province with a total investment of 187 mln usd.
The company said it will conduct a re-branding program in the city during 2005 using the dual brands of Sinopec and Shell.
